Doing a reef and tip on your vessel is vital to longevity in your glass. Waiting till the caulking bleeds or cracks can be too late as this can promulgate moisture between layers of the glass thus causing delamination. 

For tempered or other types of glass, it can cause moisture in the flange, framing, or interior which can cause corrosion damage or bubbling in the proximity paint.

Typically an inspection should be done every year and a replacement seal every 2-3 years with industry standard caulking. However, our products used are above the industry standard allowing a longer adhesion time. With an inspection, we will recommend only the best material for your vessel and warranty our work.
